Climate Crisis: A Global Challenge

Climate Crisis: A Global Challenge

Climate Change is one of the greatest challenges of the world. It needs to be taken very seriously or else it can prove to be extremely disastrous for the younger generation and generations to come. Here in this article, I will give out some suggestions as to how we can control this crisis, and give the main idea about why this has become a crisis.

The Climate crisis developed over the years due to our negligence towards nature. With Industrialization, came a big threat to our environment. the methods that were harmful to the environment were being used for manufacturing, transportation and other uses. This was a big disaster for our generations. This started to emit harmful smoke from non-renewable resources hence destroying the environment and wasting our Natural resources.

Climate Change has become a serious challenge because we are losing out on our world’s natural resources. Furthermore, this is warming up the climate, which is eventually drying up the glaciers and water resources hence becoming a threat for water shortage. Due to all the negligence of mankind with this planet Earth, we are facing this crisis, but it is never too late, we can still control this from getting worse.

What can be done to stop this?

There are many ways we can control this crisis. First of all, we all need to understand that THIS is a GLOBAL CRISIS. We still aren’t stopping ourselves from anti-environmental behaviours. We are still emitting much Carbon from our automobiles, industries and many other ways. We need to stop this and bring out alternatives to this which is much more environment-friendly. We need to come out of the traditional sources of energy, which are now reducing to dangerous levels. Instead, we should start using renewable sources of energy which we can use over and over again.

Furthermore, to tackle global warming, we need to plant more trees, as it helps in lowering the climate. Trees during their process of photosynthesis cleanse the air which eventually lowers the climate as clean air cooler. Here, I would like to appreciate the initiative of the current Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr Imran Khan, who started the campaign for planting 10 Billion trees in 5 years. This is a great initiative towards a Green Pakistan, which is my vision for Pakistan as well. The cleaner the environment, the healthier it is for our people, hence it can be beneficial for our Nature.

Moreover, I would also like to mention here that we need to promote electric cars which are much better and environment-friendly. We need to now think in a smarter and greener way so that we should move away from these non-renewable resources, and go towards the usage of eco-friendly ways. Using the alternatives to petrol and diesel can help lower the price of petrol as the demand would decrease.

This crisis needs to be tackled on a priority basis, and beyond the borders. It is a global crisis, and the world needs to unite and defeat this crisis. We all need to unanimously shun all the non-environmental friendly habits, and start using eco-friendly items, and reduce the carbon emissions in the air.

In this regard, the youth is getting more educated, and the authorities must listen to them in this regard, as they’ve got some great ideas to tackle this crisis.

Today, we see World Leaders coming together to discuss this crisis, but that still isn’t enough, practical implementation must be done to save mother nature. We have done enough damage to our planet Earth, not more.

My Vision for Pakistan

My vision for Pakistan is a Cleaner, Greener and Healthier Pakistan. In my vision, Pakistan should reduce its carbon emissions to 0% by at least 2035, and should start converting to renewable energy from now on. The first step towards an eco-friendly environment must be taken today, from our homes. This will be a charity for Planet Earth. A greener Pakistan will be a cleaner Pakistan, which will be beneficial for the conservation of the environment for the current and future generations.

I hope that I was able to give a basic overview to you as to how we can control the global crisis. I would write more in detail about this topic in the future, as this is one of the topics, that is very close to my heart, and I will keep on writing and raising my voice on this issue. I am an environmentalist and have a lot of concerns about the environment.

In the end, I would only say, please save Nature, if you want to live with peace in this land and want your future generations to live in peace. Please Save the Environment, it is very important. I hope you understand.

May Allah Almighty Protect our Nation! Pakistan Paindabad!
